A little about me

As a film major, I’m always asked how I got into programming. I graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Radio Television and Film. During that time, I created websites to build up my portfolio. I shot several music videos for local bands and musicians and since I was a desperate starving student, I included a website for their band as part of the deal. During this process I realized something. Making websites was the funnest most rewarding part of the entire process. I did not have to coordinate with venues or artists to get the perfect time to shoot, and I did not have to schedule times to rent production equipment. I slowly pivoted from shooting videos and started a business creating websites. I did that for three years before getting hired at a web development company. I never looked back at shooting music videos, coding is my passion and I get to do this every day.
